Short Biography
Dr. Muneeb Ul Hassan is currently working as Associate Lecturer in Cybersecurity at Deakin University, Australia. He previously worked as Postdoctoral Research Associate in Security & Privacy at Swinburne University of Technology, Australia. did his Ph.D Degree from Swinburne University of Technology, Australia in 2021. He did his Bachelor’s of Electrical Engineering from COMSATS Institute of Information and Technology, Wah Cantt. He secured 3.89/4.00 CGPA and was awarded with Gold Medal from University for being the topper of Electrical Engineering Department.
He is also a recipient of IEEE TCSC 2022 Award for Excellence (Early Career Researcher) in Scalable Computing for research excellence in privacy preservation of blockchain and decentralized energy systems. Alongside this, he has also won several Top Peer Reviewer Awards from Clarivate - Web of Science.
He has published his research works in Top Tier Journals of the field including IEEE Transactions on Knowledge Data Engineering, IEEE Transactions on Services Computing, IEEE Communications Surveys & Tutorials, etc., and have an accumulated impact factor of more than 100. [Impact Factor: 100+]
His main research interests include blockchain technology, differential privacy, cybersecurity, smart grid, cognitive radio ad hoc networks, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data, security and privacy, wireless networks, cognitive radio sensor networks, and mobile ad-hoc networks.
He also served as a Track Chair of Short Papers, Posters, and Demos" for IEEE CloudCom 2019. He served in the TPC for the IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC): Next-Generation Networking and Internet Symposium (ICC 2023) and IEEE International Conference on Cloud Computing Technology and Science (CloudCom), 2019. He also served as a session chair for IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC) 2020, IEEE ISPA 2018, and SpaCCS 2018.
He is also serving as a reviewer of more than 50 ISI indexed journals including ACM and IEEE Transactions. He also has been a Reviewer for more than 18 International conferences.
